This new DVD from Dr. Jean-Claude Guimberteau explores the relationships between the fibrillar connective tissue architecture and cells within the living human body by intra-tissue endoscopy.
The research carried out by Dr Guimberteau in recent years aimed to reestablish the importance of the extracellular environment. The film “Interior Architectures” concluded that the fibrillar structures that can be observed everywhere in the body are in fact our internal structuring architecture, and are not simply connective tissue, but are actually the constitutive tissue of the body. But how are the cells incorporated into the fibrillar network?
This new film “Of cells, fibers an the living human body” is similar to Dr Guimberteau’s previous films of endoscopic exploration will once again take us on a journey of full of surprises that appear to question certain accepted “truths”. We can say for example :
– that cells are not present everywhere and are therefore not responsible for the final shape of the body
-that cells, vessels and the fibrillar architecture are histologically inseparable.
The cells that inhabit this fibrillar edifice are responsible for the manufacture and production of the collagen matrix that ensures their ability to function. This film will hopefully persuade scientists to consider the cell in its natural environment, the human body, and to consider also that cells can behave in ways that have until now remained unnoticed because they were studied «in vitro» under the microscope or in a test tube in a laboratory. This exploration of cells in the living human body reveals surprising cell behavior which opens up new fields of research and investigation.

About the author
The images from these videos were taken during surgery by Dr. Jean-Claude Guimberteau. He is co-founder and scientific director of the ” Institut Aquitain de la Main “, and Director of Research at the ” Société Française de Chirurgie Plastique Reconstructrice et Esthétique “. Member of the National Academy of Surgery, co-founder and Scientific Director of the Institute of Aquitaine hand, responsible for cell search in the French plastic surgery, reconstructive and aesthetic team.
J.C. GUIMBERTEAU has explored new experimental fields and has tried to explain the gliding of the structures under the skin. After hundred of observations, he has concluded that it seems that there is one unique architectural system and that the tissue continuity is global. He thinks that sharing these discoveries will incite people to get into this scientific world showing this new way of explaining living matter organization These pictures register in the history of the contemporary filmography, giving birth to a look of a new type, to discover…
